Pear Exercise

We were handed out this image in my painting class about a week ago and told to recreate the pear. The image is a lot more vibrant in the handout.

First attempt. Not a great one.

Second Attempt... just went back and refined the pear and the shadow.

Flamingo Sketches for my painting titled, "A Weekend Spent With Rude, Self-Centered, And Insensitive." I don't believe I had ever drawn a flamingo prior to this project, and i don't believe I will be drawing another one for quite some time haha! They were alot more difficult due to their odd proportions... and of course, I decided to forshorten them :/
